efy week #2 - St George!

Ooooooohhhhhh My Goooooooossssssshhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I don’t know if I can adequately describe how in love with this week of efy I am in! for real! St George is HOTT – and I mean like 117 degrees hot! The air here is REALLY THICK! – but putting that aside…It’s a TRULY AMAZING week!
Alex is my co-counselor- YEP! That’s RIGHT! My Best Friend is my coco for efy this week!

Just that ALONE is INCREDIBLE! – to be able to be coes with my best friend! I couldn’t ask for more…
But-
We also have a STELAR group!!!

Our session director Brother Dixon came up to us multiple times and told Alex and I that in 17 years of working for efy he has never seen a more unified group! Seriously! It was quite an incredible thing to see how much this group of youth came together! by Monday night they were all already best friends! We did EVERYTHING together as a company!
We Ate,Jump-roped,did Yoga, played games,tried out for Variety show sang in the Musical Program....EVERYTHING! I will show you!...

Monday-
At FHE- We really DID become a little family! Alex, me and our 20 kidlets aka: mabcubs! We had a lot of fun playing FHE games

Tuesday:

So...have you ever seen Alex Norr dance?! Well go look at my previous post titled "blog worthy" oh man! good day! Alex Norr dancing has got to be one of my favorite things in this world! So fun! well...I love this picture from the dance of our whole company. Alex was on door duty- so we all took the dance up to the front with him and all had a good time!


Wednesday:
We were stating in hotels in St George cause Dixie State didn't have the accommodations we needed for efy. So we were bussed back and forth from the institute building to the hotels everyday.

As we all know Wed at efy is Games night which includes: playing games and competing against other companies and a banner competition and cheer off.


The name that our Company chose this week was "THE CHOSEN" from the scripture mastery verse

Our chillins may have even decided to run through the sprinklers in the field next to the one we were playing in...it may or may not have been a counselor influenced idea...hehehe

Alex and I had rockin awesome Walkie-Talkies that we used this week! everyone was jealous! The first part of pizza night was spent talking to the boys on the Walkie Talkies. and saying funny things and rhymes and cheers back and forth to each other. I wish I could remember what was said...cause it was funny! This is a picture for our boys...cause we love them so much! Then we ate Pizza
OH MY GOSH!!!! WE ARE SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!
Then we decided that we wanted to do something for our boys who we all love so much! So we made friendship bracelets for them!

Thursday:
Good Day! We had great YM/YW activities...all dressed up nice...

Chase decided to spice things up and jack up his knee on the way to the variety show by jumping over this...
he didn't quite make it...
"My knee feels funny in my pants" ....well that is probably why...it was bleeding and it got bruised and swollen pretty fast.
I taught my kids that you can hold pinkies...or even hold hands...just as long as your swing your hands while you do it...that takes away the awkwardness (skipping is also an option)
Um....I dont know if this requires an explanation....
haha!
We had an Amazing experience on Thursday night! Our whole company was in Musical Program together! and then the fireside was great and our testimony meeting was awesome! Love Love!!!!

Friday:
this is Brandon being Alex during breakfast...hahaha!

Alex taught a For Strength of Youth Class on Sexual Purity
using the "chastity backpack" it was a great lesson!

It true! we WERE family! All 22 of us!...well my kids decided that it would be a good idea if it were officially official....they REALLY BADLY want Alex and me to get married!

...Right....well...they decided to take it upon themselves to get Alex and I ready to go...so they helped out with decorating the van, and Alex and I made a little pit stop in Vegas on the way home...
